The Save Point Warranty Policy

We want customers to feel confident when buying from us. This page sets out the basic warranty position for products sold by The Save Point.

ℹ️ Introduction

At The Save Point, we aim to provide quality trading cards, collectibles, model kits, accessories, games, figures, merchandise and other hobby products to our customers in the UK. We understand that issues may occasionally arise, and we aim to help resolve them promptly and fairly.

This warranty policy outlines the general warranty position for products purchased from our website or in-store.

🏷️ Manufacturer warranty

Some new products sold by The Save Point may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. The specific warranty details, duration and scope may vary depending on the product, brand and manufacturer.

Please refer to the product description, product packaging, included documentation or manufacturer’s website for more information where applicable.

📩 Warranty claims

If you experience an issue that may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer may be the best point of contact. Warranty information and contact details are usually included with the product or available on the manufacturer’s website.

If you are unsure what to do, contact The Save Point and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

Exclusions

The following situations are generally not covered by warranty:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, accident or improper handling of the product.
  • Damage caused by storage conditions, moisture, heat, sunlight or other environmental factors after purchase.
  • Any modifications, alterations or attempted repairs made to the product without authorisation.
  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the product.
  • Issues caused by third-party accessories, software, parts or products not supplied by The Save Point.
  • Damage to packaging, seals, tags or collector condition after the item has been received in good condition.
  • Items that have been used, assembled, opened, altered or handled in a way that falls outside normal inspection, unless the item is faulty.

🔒 Sealed and collector products

Many products we sell rely on their sealed retail condition, tags, labels, packaging or collector presentation for their value. This includes trading card products, model kits, figures, collectibles, accessories, apparel and other sealed or packaged items.

If factory seals, shrink wrap, retail packaging, collector packaging, clothing tags, swing tags, labels, runners, contents, cards or accessories are opened, removed, damaged, altered or tampered with after delivery, the item may no longer be considered new. This may affect warranty, return or refund options depending on the circumstances.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet your legal rights.

Returns and refunds

For information about cancelling an order, returning an item, faulty returns, return costs or refunds, please refer to our separate Refunds & Returns Policy.

Warranty cover and returns are related, but they are not always the same thing. If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Save Point shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or remove your statutory rights.
